Works As A Publisher and Editor
It is often observed that a man is defined not by the successes in his life but how he deals with his failures. Guy, a once - wealthy, successful stockbroker managing millions of dollars through his Registered Advisory Group saw his wealth, his reputation and his many accomplishments disappear literally overnight. There are many reasons why, statistically, someone will plead to a crime, not the least of which are the draconian sentences handed out by the Federal government. Yet despite vehemently protesting his innocence Guy accepted a plea deal and served a nine-year prison sentence. When most of those incarcerated chose to surrender to circumstances, Guy set about taking control of the only thing left to him – his mind.
Unchained and Unbroken; Life Lessons and Strength Training From a Jailhouse Gymrat
Is a book not for the faint-of-heart. It is a sober, straightforward look at life inside America’s dungeons. “Unchained and Unbroken” is about facing overwhelming odds and overcoming them with determination and fortitude.
After much thought, Guy, who is also a Certified Fitness Trainer, felt that along with guidance and advice on losing weight, proper diet, exercise and weight training it would be wise to share how to build a strong foundation on which to build a solid, meaningful and productive life – no matter the circumstances surrounding the person wishing to do so. It is about taking hurts, betrayals and lies and transforming them in such a way in which to help others. It was with this first-hand experience on what it takes to accomplish these objectives which is included in this book. More importantly however are the numerous lessons that each of us can use in our own lives, not the least of which is to never give up.
Guy's Next Book
“Chrysalis; Awakening to God’s Path, Protection and Power in our Lives” is due later this summer. Chrysalis abounds with Biblical scripture verifying that in God’s own words He assures us that with faith, intention – and belief – that with God nothing is impossible. In Chrysalis are found Jesus’ own words corroborating time and again that faith can not only move mountains but can create miracles in each of our lives.
For those who seek to find confirmation in God’s Holy Book that motivation, inspiration, faith and belief are not only substantial emotions but powerful attitudes available to all of us, this book will be a must-read.
